It’s a Beautiful Day for Brunch and to Arrest the Cops That Killed Breonna Taylor

Performers: Roselyne Dougé-Charles, Carly Anna Billings, Liz Whitbread, and Patrick Teed

Made by and for our internet age, we invite audiences to witness this verbatim piece of digital theatre and laugh about how our engagements with racial justice often go ridiculously wrong so that we might hopefully learn how to make them go right.

A portion of profits from this piece will be going to support PASAN, a community-based prisoner health and harm reduction organization that provides support, education and advocacy to prisoners and ex-prisoners across Canada.

Afterlife Theatre is a new bi-city theatre company with roots in Hamilton and Toronto that is committed to staging urgent and provocative works that speak to questions of time, human-ness and how we arrive at the present through our inheritance of the past
